Jan 12, 2025 · So, all-in-all, a great cruise. Some things we liked better about Discovery, some less. But that's the great thing about having different ships, isn't it. Looking forward to being on Ruby again in September for a 10-day Alaska cruise out of SF, then a 7-day on the new Star in early 2027 to the Western Caribbean. Here's to more cruises!

For our January cruise, we upgraded prior to the cruise and we were able to make reservations at all but one of the evenings via the app. The Crown grill was the only restaurant in which we couldn’t get any early reservations so, we may try once we are onboard.

These are major considerations to contribute to a perfect cruise. Our last cruise I was with partner and neither of these problems would be relevant.
