Treebeard, or Fangorn in Sindarin, is a tree-giant character in J. R. R. Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings. He is an Ent and is said by Gandalf to be "the oldest living thing that still walks beneath the Sun upon this Middle-earth ."

Treebeard is featured in The Lord of the Rings: Conquest in both the good and evil campaigns. In the first he appears in the Battle of Isengard level, where the player must deliver Gríma Wormtongue 's key to Orthanc to him.

He knew Gandalf and asked the Hobbits for news of the outside world. When he came to know about Saruman and how he had tamed Orcs to serve him, he was angry.

The Ents looked for them, but have never found them. It is sung by the Ents that one day they would find each other, once they would have lost all else. When Pippin and Merry tell Treebeard about the Shire, Treebeard says the Entwives would like that land.
