Yes, Kratos new older and wiser character fits his more practical and reserved approach to the violence, but i still wonder, how bad would something have to be to send him into such a fury to give him that same brutal edge from his heyday?

But now that he is without them (at least the BoO), he chose to channel his rage after he came to Midgard into a more controlled form and actually use his bodily strength rather than a weapon.
