Feb 28, 2023 · Hello all - I am new to the forum. I recently purchased a 2021 Ram 2500 with app. 50,000 miles. When test driving / inspecting the truck prior to purchase, I did not hear any issues with the engine. Upon driving it no more than 200 miles, a rhythmic tick / knock has evolved.

Jan 23, 2017 · Yep,on Page 867 on 2016 Ram Truck it says Power Steering Reservoir – 2500/3500 Models we recommend you use MOPAR Power Steering Fluid +4 or MOPAR ATF+4 Automatic Transmission Fluid. I was in a parts store and picked up some Castrol ATF+4 which is certified for use in all Chrysler vehicles and I guess it's good enough for my power steering.
