Nov 10, 2024 · In need of some help on a 1969 x11 car that I recently purchased. I don’t know the history in it but I know it’s not the original motor. When I plug the VIN in a search it keeps coming up at a 1969 CHEVROLET CAMARO V8 COPO 9560 SERIES (ZL1). More or less wondering how accurate those VIN search engines are. This is the VIN: 124379N636198.

May 29, 2013 · I noticed that Berger Chevrolet name is back with the 2013 GMPartsNow.com COPO Camaro Berger sold the 1969 427 Camaros L72 and ZL1 and sponsored a 1969 427 Camaro I think the 1969 Camaro pictured was built from an SS396 but took advantage of the 427 COPO option to race in Super Stock.

Jan 2, 2010 · An L88 Camaro would have been an incredible factory hot rod. It has the power of a ZL1 Camaro but with a more durable iron block and about $2500 less on the sale price. The L88 was a better racing engine then the ZL1 and was used by many successful drag racing, boat racing, and road racing teams for many years.

Jan 23, 2007 · No one seems to have the one missing page. Yenko had 201 of the 800-900 or so L72 [COPO 9561] Camaros. A good number of COPO Camaros were shipped to Canada and those cars are known because the Canada Zone kept the 'import' records and used to send a copy of the page your car was on. The page was computer-generated and listed option codes.

Dec 12, 2024 · I'm looking for a 1969 COPO Camaro preferably with a 4-speed but will consider an automatic car as well. Must be a #1.5-2 car and contain some of the born with drivetrain. I'd really like the RS option but I don't want to get to selective her since these cars can be difficult to obtain. Thanks in advance for any help a member can provide!

Mar 26, 2008 · All ZL-1 VINs are known; most of the Camaro sites have the list. Most if not all Yenko Camaro VINs are known; same story although some are in dispute. There is no official list for non-Yenko L72 Camaros. There is nothing in the VIN or on the body tag that will positively identify an L72 car.

Oct 28, 2007 · The 68 COPO Camaro is interesting but really didn't offer a big performance boost over a stock L78 car. The 70 COPO spoiler Camaros are cool because of their specific purpose but in terms of performance it's a limited difference …

Jan 5, 2024 · Owning a piece of history like a limited production, documented, COPO Camaro, is an awesome accomplishment, and the fact it's on the road and not been crushed at a salvage yard 40 or 50 years ago, is a great thing in my opinion,...original drive train or not.

Our Phase lll models were built-to-order and came stock with all the goodies.Many COPO 427 Camaro owners brought their cars to Motion for engine and suspension modification and dyno tuning.
