The White House posted a photo on its official X account showing a very buff Trump wearing the Superman tights along with the phrases “A Trump Presidency” and “Truth Justice And The American Way.” The image was posted as right-wingers freaked out over the movie after filmmaker James Gunn called it “the story of America.”

The press office of California Governor Gavin Newsom, meanwhile, also seized on the attention, writing on X, “Superman was an undocumented immigrant.” Newsom has been challenging Trump’s deployment of the National Guard amid protests over ICE raids.
