After weeks of controversy over the film's title, the makers of Suresh Gopi's Janaki V vs State of Kerala have finally announced the movie's new release date.

The weekend ranks as the third biggest ever for a DC film, behind Batman v Superman and Aquaman. In terms of the pure Friday-Saturday-Sunday frame, Superman actually tops the list.
