One week after devastating floods ravaged communities in Texas, calls for accountability are growing as people grapple with the damage and loss of life.

There was a reported disturbance in the 500 block of East Nobles Avenue, and officers were responding to the scene.

The Pueblo County Coroner said the man killed in an officer-involved shooting on Tuesday, July 8, has been identified as 54-year-old John Michael Jesse. Officers with the Pueblo Police Department (PPD) originally responded to a domestic disturbance on Glen Royal Drive near Pueblo Boulevard and West Northern Avenue on Tuesday.
