HOUSTON — Drivers are urged to exercise caution during their morning commutes as black ice may have reformed in isolated spots on Houston roadways overnight.

Part of the Gulf Freeway was closed down Thursday after a dangerous situation unfolded. According to Texas City police, a shooting took place just before 10 a.m. in the northbound lanes near FM 1765.
