Federal authorities had been searching a national forest in Idaho after a sighting of a man who matched Decker's description; however, it's now been confirmed as a case of mistaken identity

Authorities initially believed the triple homicide suspect, Travis Decker, had been spotted in Idaho's Sawtooth National Forest, but the lookalike turned out to be exactly that. Authorities came to that determination after identifying the lookalike, interviewing him and then releasing him. He was cooperative the entire time.
