The 49ers announced on Sunday that WR Ricky Pearsall has been activated from the PUP list. He participated in practice on Sunday.

That being the case, quarterback Brock Purdy may have to feed the ball to Pearsall and tight end George Kittle in the passing game. Kittle has proven to be one of the league's best tight ends for years now, so it's Pearsall's turn to show that he can be a dependable No. 1 option in a thin receiving room.

The best offensive plays of the day included a connection between Purdy and Pearsall during red zone drills. The wideout was covered by both Ji’Ayir Brown and Upton Stout. Purdy also found tight end Luke Farrell in back-to-back plays, with the new addition to the 49ers’ offense showing he can be used as a receiver as well as a blocker.
