CHENNAI: Architect and activist Tara Murali passed away at her residence in Alwarpet on Saturday night, at the age of 75.

The Supreme Court has denied musician Ilaiyaraaja's request to move a copyright case concerning more than 500 of his compositions from the Bombay High Court to the Madras High Court.
