The Lieutenant Governor of Jersey, Vice Admiral Sir Jeremy Kyd, has been awarded an honorary doctorate of science by the University of Southampton. Sir Jeremy was recognised at a ceremony at the Guildhall on Tuesday. He said the honorary award was recognition of the connections between the island and the university.
