The second-ranked Hawkeyes dropped eight of 10 bouts, with 133-pounder Drake Ayala winning by technical fall (19-4) over Penn State's Kurt McHenry and Stephen Buchanan defeating No. 4 Josh Barr in a 5-1 decision at 197 pounds in the only wins of the night for Iowa.

The No. 2 Hawkeyes lost their fourth straight dual to No. 1 Penn State, which doesn’t sit well for the program or its supporters. The last time Iowa dropped more than three consecutive duals to the same Big Ten program was from 1963-68 when Michigan won six straight against the Hawkeyes.
