U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem visited New Orleans ahead of the Super Bowl to discuss security preparations in the wake of the Bourbon Street terror attack and visit a memorial to the victims.

The New Orleans Superdome will be 'the safest place to be' during Super Bowl 59 this Sunday. New Orleans was rocked by a terrorist attack on Bourbon Street in the early hours of New Year's Day, which left 14 people dead and dozens wounded.

Security remains the top priority when it comes to major events like the Super Bowl coming to New Orleans after the Bourbon Street attack.
