The DC Universe HBO series Lanterns has found its villain, as Danish actor Ulrich Thomsen ( The Celebration , The World Is Not Enough , Banshee , The Blacklist ) has joined the cast. Thomsen has signed on in the recurring role of Sinestro.

DC Studios has hired "Banshee" star Ulrich Thomsen to play the villainous Sinestro in the upcoming series, "Lanterns."

The upcoming Lanterns show for HBO has already cast its Green Lantern leads, Hal Jordan and John Stewart. Kyle Chandler and Aaron Pierre will play them.
