Woman arrested in connection to death of Kansas City reporter covering Super Bowl in New Orleans - ‘Adan was a true professional and a rising star, who exemplified excellence in his work,’ Telemundo K

A Kansas City reporter in New Orleans to cover the Super Bowl was found dead in his hotel room on Wednesday.  Now a local woman has been arrested for using the deceased man’s credit card. Adan Manzano was on assignment at the Super Bowl for Telemundo Kansas City and Tico Sports.

Danette Colbert of Louisiana has been charged with fraud and theft, police said. Investigators said she used a credit card belonging to Adan Manzano.
