Ben Brown pitched five effective innings, Pete Crow-Armstrong drove in two runs and the Chicago Cubs held off the Chicago White Sox for a 5-4 win

Cubs left-hander Shota Imanaga turned to look over his left shoulder at the video board showing the replay of the home run he just had given up in the fourth inning Friday. In a game the Cubs would go on to lose 12-5 to the White Sox, it was the third homer Imanaga had yielded, all on fastballs that caught too much of the strike zone.

Nico Hoerner delivered for the Chicago Cubs on Sunday — at the plate and in the field. Hoerner had two hits, drove in a run and made a heady defensive play in a 5-4 win over the Chicago White Sox. The all-around performance by the second baseman helped the Cubs to a second straight victory going into a big series at Milwaukee.
