The 45-ton, 61-foot-long tilt section of track is the ride’s signature terrifying element. It teeters the coaster’s train into a 90-degree vertical position before locking into place and releasing riders onto the 2,966 feet of twisting track below.

On Monday, Cedar Point released an animated video that showcases the point-of-view of someone riding in the front car of the ride.
