Bugatti opens a cutting-edge atelier in Molsheim, doubling capacity and preparing for the electric V16 Tourbillon hypercar.

Bugatti, the 115-year-old French marque known for its powerful W16 engines, unveiled its first electrified hypercar, the Tourbillon, on Thursday at the company's atelier in Molsheim.

Ordinarily, Bugatti Tourbillon owners will be limited to a paltry 236 mph (achieved in a stupefying 25 seconds). However, drop in The Speed Key, and that figure jumps to 276 mph.

Bugatti revealed its next-generation hyper sports car, the 2027 Tourbillon, a hybrid model with 1,800 horsepower that has a top speed of 227 mph and costs over $4 million.
