The Chicago Bears are in a state of transition with new head coach Ben Johnson trying to change the fortunes of a franchise that has consistently come up short of expectations for much of the last 20 years.

Before training camp started, Johnson reflected on the evolution of his offensive installs from 2022 to 2024. As Cronin reported, Johnson said the system he's implementing with the Bears this year is "much more complex" compared to his Lions debut in 2022.

The Bears added to their offensive weapons during the 2025 NFL Draft when they selected Missouri wide receiver Luther Burden, however, early indications in camp have been mixed and came to a head Tuesday when Johnson reportedly kicked the rookie out of practice temporarily.
