With its built-in sensor, HomePod can detect and tell you the temperature and humidity of the room. And you can set it in automations so the blinds close if the temperature hits 80 degrees.
If you're using Amazon Echo speakers at home, you'll find a temperature sensor inside the 2nd-gen Echo Plus (launched 2018), the 4th-gen Echo (launched 2020), and the 5th-gen Echo Dot (launched 2022).
Select the temperature or humidity sensor you want to use. It will be labeled HomePod Sensor with a thermometer or humidity icon next to it. Tap Next.
