A man who used a stolen riot shield to crush a police officer in a doorframe during Capitol riot has been sentenced for his role in one of the most violent episodes of the Jan. 6 attack.

SNOHOMISH — FBI agents arrested a Snohomish man Thursday on charges accusing him of breaching the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, and throwing a police riot shield at officers.
