And after more than 10 years since the release of the last side-scrolling platform game, New Super Mario Bros. U for Nintendo Wii U, Mario is back in 2D with Super Mario Bros. Wonder.

Now that Super Mario Bros. Wonder has proved that the 2D Mario format still has fresh new tricks up its sleeve, I’d love to see how they iterate on it in their next games.
