Police arrested a man accused of shoplifting nearly $1,800 worth of merchandise at a New Jersey supermarket during 43 separate incidents over a two-month period.

A Forked River man is accused of shoplifting nearly $1,800 worth of merchandise during 43 separate incidents over a two-month period from a Stafford supermarket, police said. The 28-year-old was arrested at 10 p.m. Jan. 9, Stafford police said in a statement last week.
