There were no major injuries after the Sooner Schooner flipped over at the 15-yard line after an Oklahoma touchdown, but a team cameraman was being checked out by medical staff.

The wagon — called “Sooner Schooner” — is the university’s official mascot. The No. 5 Sooners led West Virginia 28-14 at halftime.

So the Sooner Schooner was indeed accelerating, simply because it was turning. Also, you might notice that right before the crash, the horses seem to take a sharper turn.
