A woman was seriously injured after a vehicle crashed into Lake Michigan Saturday at the lakefront trail near Grant Park, Chicago fire officials said.

Police said a 26-year-old woman was headed south on DuSable Lake Shore Drive near Balbo Drive around 7:40 p.m., when she veered off the road and her blue sedan plunged into Lake Michigan.
