The Bose Smart Soundbar 900 supports Atmos, ... The Smart Soundbar 900 comes with a small remote — something the Arc doesn’t. It can change the input, adjust the volume and access presets.

Strangely, Bose decided to equip the Soundbar 900 with one of its basic, non-backlit infrared remotes, while the Soundbar 700 comes with a much fancier, backlit Bluetooth universal remote.

The Bose Smart Soundbar 900 looked lovely sitting on my TV stand, and it also played music and movies well. I compared it directly to the Sonos Arc both with and without the optional subwoofers.

Today, Bose took the wraps off its first Dolby Atmos soundbar, the $899 Smart Soundbar 900. It goes on sale on September 23 but can be pre-ordered as of today on Bose’s website.
