Roblox is launching its own take on video chat called Roblox Connect. The feature, which is set to launch later this year, lets you chat with other people as your avatar.

Beyond Roblox Connect, the company had a flurry of other announcements at its developer event, including the news that Roblox would finally be available on PlayStation 4 and PS5 starting next month.

The Roblox app will capture the movements of 40 points on the user’s face, then use that data to give expressions to the user's Roblox avatar that accurately convey their emotions.
