Grand Haven Area Public Schools has announced plans to repurpose Mary A. White Elementary School, one of the district's six elementary schools.

After months of pushback from parents and community members, the Fulton County Board of Education has voted to close Parklane and Spalding Drive elementary schools.

If every student zoned for Riley enrolled at the school, it would be about the same size as Godby High School.
