After getting feedback from Power BI users, Microsoft is making changes to make it easier for users to create and use App Workspaces.

Power BI users now have another way of making sense of their analytics data with the release of the Visio Custom Visual for the cloud-enabled business intelligence offering from Microsoft.

Power BI now has a new lineage view feature, initially announced as part of the 2019 release wave 2. It allows for the viewing of all interdependencies between Power BI learning artifacts.

Power BI brings intuitive data analysis to both the executive level as well as Microsoft Office power users who have a penchant for number crunching, data slicing and dicing, and reporting.

Render the SVG in Power BI: Assign the “Image URL” data category to your DAX measure. This step allows Power BI to interpret and render the SVG within table or matrix visuals.

AtScale Connector for Power BI: Power BI Desktop now includes a connector enabling simple connection of a Power BI workspace to an existing AtScale model.
