Press the Win + X keyboard shortcut or right-click the Windows icon in the taskbar. Type explorer and hit Enter to open a File Explorer window. Click on File Explorer to open a new app window.

4] Open the MS Project file as a subproject of another file. In this solution, we recommend opening a corrupted Microsoft Project file as a subproject of another file for various reasons.

The file will open and you can work with it. One thing to keep in mind is that Samba does use file locking, so if you attempt to open a file that's already in use, you'll see a warning ( Figure 4 ).
