FedEx’s on-time delivery rates fared well against UPS and the U.S. Postal Service during the 2022 holiday season, according to data from ShipMatrix.

The weak demand bedeviling package delivery companies like United Parcel Service and FedEx promises to be great news for online U.S. shoppers who want quick, on-time holiday gift delivery.

The numbers are slightly better for the first quarter of 2025, but Georgia’s on-time rate for two-day delivery stands at just over 61% and 3-5 deliveries only arrive on-time about 55% of the time.
