Mississippi State athletics announced it broke the department's fundraising record during the 2025 fiscal year.

Mississippi State baseball pitcher Evan Siary was picked by the Texas Rangers in the 2025 MLB Draft on July 14. The Rangers chose Siary with the No. 235 overall pick in the eighth round.

Jack Bauer, a signee who throws 103 mph, will play for Mississippi State baseball in 2026 instead of signing an MLB contract.
