On Aug. 28, 1993, the first episode of “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers” hit the airwaves and forever changed pop culture. Thirty years later, it continues to capture the imaginations of children.

Mallow is not the first “Mighty Morphin Power Rangers” actor to die. Jason David Frank, who played Tommy Oliver, the original Green/White Ranger, committed suicide at age 49 in November 2022.

The Rangers aren't the only characters from the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers movie being turned into Funko Pops this week. The villain from the movie Ivan Ooze will be joining them.
