AZ coronavirus stats: Data show that 76% of Maricopa Co. residents ages 75 and older had received at least one vaccine dose, up from 44% on Feb. 11.

Ninety percent of Arizona’s deaths from COVID-19 have been among those 55 and older, state data shows, and about 65% of those hospitalized because of COVID-19 are in that age group.

Arizona has passed the 2 million mark for COVID-19 vaccine doses administered and on March 5, Maricopa County officials stated adults 55 and older are now eligible.
