In the last few days, firefighters have battled multiple fires in the hills around Los Angeles and Ventura counties. Winds will linger through at least Friday morning, according to the weather service.

President Trump is expected to visit the Los Angeles area Friday following the devastating wildfires that caused extensive damage and left at least 28 dead.

The president has had harsh words for state and local leaders in California amid the deadly blazes. He recently suggested that federal aid could come with strings.

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt filed the lawsuit along with more than 20 other property owners and residents affected by the Palisades Fire.

Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag are suing the city of Los Angeles and the Department of Water and Power, alleging that the agencies' management of the water supply directly caused damage to their home in the Pacific Palisades Fire.

Montag is one of several public figures who have questioned the city’s response to the Palisades Fire, which destroyed several celebrity homes and scorched over 23,000 acres.
