The single-lane roundabout is located at the intersection of Route 11 and Browns Subdivision Road, according to a written statement.

A man in his 80s has been seriously injured following an accident close to the A325 ‘peanut’ roundabout in Whitehill.

The city states that prep work is currently underway for the construction of the roundabout, but traffic flow will not be impacted until later this month.

Roundabouts are more and more common in the Upstate. Planners say they are safer than old intersections and help traffic to flow smoothly.

A new roundabout is coming to St. Joseph, and construction starts July 8. Stearns County released a statement informing the public the project is sparking traffic detours.
