After two seasons with the Washington Wizards, Jordan Poole will suit up for the New Orleans Pelicans for the 2025-26 season. Draymond Green believes the Pelicans got the best end of the bargain.

The New Orleans Pelicans are trading CJ McCollum, Kelly Olynyk and a future second-round pick to the Washington Wizards for Jordan Poole, Saddiq Bey and the No. 40 pick, sources tell ESPN.

McCollum averaged 21.1 points and 4.1 assists per game in 56 appearances last season, while Poole notched 20.5 points per contest — the highest scoring average of his career.
