Trade negotiations between the Golden State Warriors and Miami Heat have come to a halt due to Jimmy Butler's unwillingness to sign an extension with the Warriors, according to ESPN's Brian Windhorst.

Cross the Warriors off the list of potential Jimmy Butler suitors, at least for now. Butler has communicated to the Warriors that he’s unwilling to sign an extension there.

It has been reported that Butler’s preferred landing spot is in Phoenix so that he can pair up with Kevin Durant and Devin Booker. Of course, that leaves Bradley Beal as the odd man out and if the Suns want Butler, they are going to have to find a team willing to take on Beal’s massive contract.
