CPD confirmed to WRBL Jermaine Thirkield, 18, was pronounced dead by an ER doctor at 8:28 p.m. The other victim underwent surgery and remains in critical condition, according to CPD.

The employee was identified as Verrett. The report from NFCU showed five stolen checks had been deposited into the account of Jermaine Thirkield, who was murdered in Muscogee Count y Nov. 21, 2023.

One victim, 18-year-old Jermaine Thirkield, died as a result of his injuries just before 8:30 p.m. at Piedmont Medical Center. The other victim still remains in critical condition.

Responding police found two males suffering from gunshot wounds, according to a news release. Police identified the victim as Jermaine Thirkield, 18, who died at 8:28 p.m. at a local hospital.
