The San Diego Padres have signed Henry County native Jason Heyward to a one-year contract for the 2025 season, the MLB team's President of Baseball Operations and General Manager A.J.
The 35-year-old spent last season with the Dodgers and Astros, batting .211 with 10 home runs and 37 RBIs in 87 games.
The Padres made a move that caught the attention of some Dodgers fans, as they've snagged a former outfielder from the team.
