Even as Catching Fire casting was announced, fans were upset that the film went with up-and-comers like Sam Claflin as Finnick Odair over Garrett Hedlund, who was a popular fan cast at the time.

Of course, before Claflin was even cast, the character of Finnick Odair was a hugely beloved fan-favorite character from The Hunger Games books, but the actor’s casting has only added to that.

Sunrise on the Reaping is one of the best Hunger Games books, and there is so much going for it. So, there are a few scenes from it that I have to see in the film adaptation.
