The auction is currently open with the lot closing on April 18. The starting bid for the instrument is $1.8 million, with the instrument expected to fetch somewhere between $2 and $3 million.

As of March 15, the lot's most recent bid was $2,600, which is a lot for a single Cheeto, but not nearly the price fetched by its fire-breathing counterpart. The bidding closes on March 29.
