The Portland Fire announced its name and new logo exclusively on "Good Morning America" as the team returns to the City of Roses for the 2026 WNBA season.

Their attempt at a modern and progressive rebrand stands in contrast to Jaguar, which retired its jaguar logo last year for a controversial all-lowercase sans-serif logo.
