Google Maps is the go-to app for all your navigation needs, as has been the case for several years now. Like with any modern-day app, changes are inevitable, but not all changes are good. We were reminded of this in April following the removal of Assistant Driving Mode from the navigation experience.

Google has announced that it will no longer allow users to follow others, or be followed themselves, within the app.

Unfortunately, Android users recently noticed a big change in their Google Maps application. Suddenly, the option to control your music while using the maps has now disappeared, according to Chethan Rao of Android Police . Alternatively, the feature is still functional and running for the iOS version of Google Maps, but not for Android users.
