The Iron Dog, also known as the world’s longest, toughest snowmobile race, will be returning to Fairbanks in 2026.

The 2025 Ice Alaska Festival, home to the World Ice Art Championships, is in full swing at the Tanana Valley Fairgrounds, drawing international ice sculptors and local spectators alike.
