How to create a PivotTable in Excel. We want a simple PivotTable that reports monthly sales by the region, based on the Table shown in Figure A. You can also work with a normal data range.
Go to the PivotTable Analyze tab, choose Fields, Items & Sets, and click on Calculated Item. Assign a name to your calculated item and define the formula using the item names from your data.
