WASHINGTON, June 26, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- The U.S. Postal Service today announced its latest set of stamps celebrating the holiday season as well as a new issue honoring humanitarian Elie Wiesel.
Timeline 1944 – The Wiesel family is sent to the Auschwitz concentration camp, when Elie is 15. January 1945 – Is moved with his father to the Buchenwald concentration camp. His father dies there.
