An expert has urged people to look out for some Christmas themed 50 pence coins that could be “worth a fortune”. These sought after pieces could come up in your change if you are lucky.

Brits have been urged to check their change for specific 50p coins, which combined could be worth more than £300. These pieces are still in circulation and could fetch far more than their face value.
